Myrtle Beach Mutiny Suffer a Tough Loss

The Myrtle Beach Mutiny visited Gate City FC in Greensboro, NC on Saturday night, July 5. The Mutiny come home with a loss to Gate City, 4-1. The Mutiny split the season series with one win and one loss against Gate City.

The Myrtle Beach Mutiny were chasing the game for the most part of the game, as Gate City scored in the 12th minute and continued pressure throughout the game. Gate City were awarded to penalty kicks in this game, one of which was saved brilliantly by the Mutiny goalkeeper, Michael Frenzel.

The Mutiny are finish the season with their next two home games. The Mutiny play the USL Pro division, Wilmington Hammerheads on Monday, July 7 at 7:00pm. The Mutiny play their last game at home against the Upward Stars, Friday, July 11 at 7:00pm. After that tough loss, the Mutiny are looking to finish the season on a positive note, and two wins.
