The USL Pro, Wilmington Hammerheads visited the Grand Strand on Monday, July 7, as they took on the Myrtle Beach Mutiny in an exhibition match. The Mutiny come out of this game with a tie, 1-1.
The Mutiny and Hammerheads shared possession for a large amount of this game, the Hammerheads scored early, in the 9th minute. RJ Bass scored in the 45th minute, to take the tie into halftime, which was enough for the Mutiny to come out with the tie.
The Mutiny are home for their final game of the season, Friday, July 11 at 7:00pm against the Upward Stars. The Mutiny will be looking to carry this momentum into their last game and finish the season on a high note. This will be the third meeting between these two teams, with Upward taking the first two in hard fought battles, so the third meeting promises to be a great soccer game as well.
